Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nThe ideal Senior Systems Engineer will possess the knowledge and technical expertise to support the team during the entire Systems Engineering life cycle. We are seeking a forward leaning self-starter capable of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced environment. They will be expected to support multiple efforts and will assist the customer in making informed decisions related to requirements and developments. Candidate will perform traditional Systems Engineering activities to include the following tasks/duties:\nCollaborate with customer and stakeholders to understand mission needs then develop Concept of operations documents\nCapture and document User, Functional, and Technical requirements\nPerform analysis and allocation of requirements to systems and segments\nCommunicate requirements to external solution providers and validate their design, planning, and testing artifacts.\nDefine and validate interfaces between systems.\nReview engineering and programmatic artifacts and provide assessment on their accuracy, completeness, and realism.\nProvide project management support, development of project plans, integration and test support and initial solution definition\nCoordinate and participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMS)\nIdentify technical, CI and operational risks and recommend mitigations.\nCreating briefings to support Control Gates \nQualifications\nActive TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.\nMinimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 8 years with Ph.D.\nMinimum of 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer providing the above services \nExperience working in Laptop, Mobile and/or OS domains\nExperience working in Agile development environments (highly desired)\nStrong written, communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to prepare and brief complex technical and non-technical information to non-technical stakeholders.\nBe a self-starter who will take initiative for helping manage key parts of complex technical developments.\nPossess a desire and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects and be willing and able to aggressively learn the activities and focus of the organization.\nMust be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.\nTarget Salary Range\n$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
