Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nPeraton is seeking a Senior Web Developer (UI, Training Content & Adoption Tools) with instructional technology experience to support platform UI development and lead the development of web-based training content and adoption tools for a federal data integration program. You will build accessible online learning resources and the training metrics dashboard that tracks adoption across government partner offices. This is a fully remote position.\nThe Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), and NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) have identified a critical gap in the federal government's ability to conduct comprehensive Endangered Species Act (ESA) research. While FWS operates an authoritative web-based platform for managing data for terrestrial and freshwater species, it does not currently include NMFS marine and anadromous species data forcing agencies to rely on separate, manual processes. This program closes that gap by integrating marine and anadromous species data into the existing FWS platform, creating a single, unified experience for all ESA-listed species.\nWork Location: Remote\nDay to Day Responsibilities:\nSupport platform UI development activities as a secondary developer, assisting with species display, geographic query interface updates, and consultation package builder front-end updates.\nLead the development of web-based training content and self-paced online learning modules, ensuring all materials are Section 508-compliant.\nDevelop recorded training videos, job aids, and online help resources for government staff and general public audiences.\nDesign and develop the Training and Adoption Metrics Dashboard, tracking usage, training completion rates, and consultation volume metrics by user group and office.\nEnsure all training web content meets Section 508/WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility standards\nSupport the development of the User Testing and Training Plan, contributing web-based delivery modality specifications and content development timelines.\nAssist in post-deployment monitoring of the platform UI, identifying and resolving user-reported interface issues.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, Master’s degree and 3 years of experience, Associate’s degree and 7 years of experience, HS Diploma and 9 years of experience. \nU. S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; all work must be performed within the United States.\n5 plus years of web development experience, including experience developing web-based training content or e-learning platforms.\nProficiency in React, Angular, or equivalent modern JavaScript frameworks.\nProficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 for Section 508-compliant web content and training material development.\nExperience with Git or equivalent version control platforms for web content and training asset management.\nExperience developing Section 508-compliant web content and e-learning materials.\nExperience building data dashboards or metrics reporting tools.\nFamiliarity with federal web development standards.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Cornerstone, or equivalent).\nDHS Certified Trusted Tester certification or Section 508 accessibility expertise.\nExperience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly, or equivalent) for metrics dashboard development.\nExperience with SCORM or xAPI e-learning standards.\nExperience with federal training program development.\nTarget Salary Range\n$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
