The successful candidate will develop scalable solutions that streamline business processes, improve service delivery, and support mission operations.\nTechnical Development\nDesign, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and custom solutions.\nBuild and maintain workflows, Flow Designer solutions, business rules, client scripts, script includes, and other platform customizations.\nDevelop Service Catalog items and design end-to-end request fulfillment workflows.\nConfigure and maintain tables, forms, notifications, service level agreements (SLAs), security controls, and CMDB components.\nBuild and maintain Service Portal pages and user-facing platform experiences.\nTranslate business, operational, and mission requirements into scalable technical solutions and platform designs.\nDevelop, test, and deploy platform enhancements in accordance with established development standards and best practices.\nPartner with program stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and process improvement.\nIntegration and Platform Engineering\nDevelop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using web services and ServiceNow platform integration tools.\nSupport interface development, data exchange, and system interoperability across enterprise environments.\nTroubleshoot and resolve integration, workflow, and application issues.\nSupport platform upgrades, patching, instance cloning, and release management activities.\nParticipate in testing activities across development, staging, and production environments.\nSupport platform lifecycle activities, ensuring solutions remain secure, scalable, and maintainable.\nOperations and Governance\nProvide production support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and platform enhancements.\nEnsure all development activities comply with established change management processes and deployment procedures.\nDocument platform configurations, application designs, workflows, integrations, and technical solutions.\nParticipate in peer reviews, testing activities, and implementation planning.\nSupport implementation of rollback procedures to minimize operational risk.\nCollaborate with engineers, administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and program stakeholders to implement secure and reliable solutions.\nSupport weekly status reporting and project documentation activities as required.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.\nAdditional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\nActive TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.(U.S. Citizenship Required)\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.\nStrong experience developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.\nExperience with ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, script includes, and platform scripting.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow development frameworks.\nExperience developing Service Catalog offerings and request fulfillment workflows.\nExperience supporting ServiceNow integrations and interface development with external systems.\nExperience supporting ServiceNow platform lifecycle activities, including testing, deployments, upgrades, patching, and production support.\nExperience translating business requirements into technical designs and platform solutions.\nExperience working within change management and release management processes.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.\nServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in one or more ServiceNow product areas.\nExperience with REST APIs and SOAP web services.\nExperience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub.\nExperience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications, cloud services, and third-party platforms.\nExperience with HelpNow\nExperience supporting IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), or CMDB implementations.\nExperience with Service Portal development and user experience enhancements.\nExperience supporting AI/ML infrastructure, HPC environments, or AI-enabled mission capability programs.\nFamiliarity with AWS cloud environments and cloud-based service management solutions.\nFamiliarity with ITIL principles and service management best practices.\nExperience supporting federal government, Intelligence Community, or other highly regulated environments.\nAgile/Scrum experience in a ServiceNow development environment.\nExperience serving as a technical mentor or lead for ServiceNow development teams.\nBenefits:\nPeraton offers enhanced benefits to employees supporting this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap, and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\nTarget Salary Range\n$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
