In this role, you will serve as a key advisor to stakeholders, shaping business solutions that deliver measurable value. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead discovery efforts, define complex business needs, and ensure clear communication between stakeholders and technical teams. You’ll take ownership of your workstreams, mentor junior analysts, and help drive initiatives that support digital transformation and strategic business outcomes.\nThis position is 100% remote.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the elicitation, documentation, and analysis of complex business, functional, and system requirements.\nFacilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and cross-functional meetings to define business needs and priorities.\nConduct detailed gap, impact, and process analyses to inform solution design.\nTranslate requirements into user stories, process flows, wireframes, and decision models that support development and implementation.\nCollaborate with product owners, project managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nDrive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, proposing enhancements, and developing process documentation.\nSupport organizational change management by defining communication plans, user training needs, and success metrics.\nMentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of business analysis standards and best practices.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\n5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD\nMust be US Citizen with a Public Trust \nProven success leading complex initiatives from discovery through delivery.\nDeep understanding of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, and tools.\nExceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.\nStrong documentation skills, including experience writing BRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.\nProficiency with collaboration and analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.\nAbility to mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent).\nExperience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid Agile environments.\nFamiliarity with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data analysis.\nExperience supporting enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, or workflow platforms.\nExposure to change management, user adoption strategies, or organizational transformation projects.\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
