Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nJob Description:\nLinux systems deployment and management\nSystems patching and upgrades\nSoftware installation and configuration\nIAVA patching and documentation creation and maintenance.\nMonitoring and initial troubleshooting of Linux based systems.\nCreating POA&M's as necessary\n Highly Desired Skills:\nMinimum of 6 years’ recent experience managing Linux based systems\nExperience with AWS environment for managing VPC's, configuring and deploying virtual systems.\nIAVAs STE/STN and system patching\nExperience with Elastic Search functionality\nKnowledge of Network Protocols\nExperienced providing customer support\nUnderstanding of fundamental networking and distributed computing environment concepts, Linux desktop systems, performance tuning and capacity planning of servers (hardware and software levels)\nAbility to write Shell and Ansible or SALT scripts.\nWrite and maintain system technical documentation.\nA self-starter who can work closely with the team but requires little oversight in completing requires SA tasks.\nQualifications\nBasic Requirements:\nActive TS/SCI with current Polygraph required\nDOD 8570 compliance (such as Security+ cert)\nFifteen (15) years’ experience as a Systems Administrator \nBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline\n5 additional years of experience as a system administrator may be substituted for a degree\nBenefits:Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees supporting this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap, and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\nTarget Salary Range\n$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
