Responsibilities include reviewing customer-submitted requirements, performing end-to-end network engineering, and identifying new technical requirements to support mission needs.\nThe role involves designing, implementing, and integrating complex data network solutions, including enterprise and cloud network architectures. The candidate will be responsible for translating customer requirements into scalable technical designs and ensuring effective integration across systems and platforms.\nAdditional responsibilities include working closely with engineering and network teams to deliver customer-driven solutions; designing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise network environments; and producing detailed network architecture documentation and specifications.\nThe candidate will also provide recommendations for hardware selection, engineering techniques, and tooling to optimize performance and meet both current and future capacity requirements. This includes designing and implementing failover and redundancy solutions for mission-critical environments.\nTechnical responsibilities further include providing network solutions supporting server infrastructure such as load balancing, VPNs, firewall contexts, and Network Address Translation (NAT). The role also requires experience with network management protocols and advanced routing and switching technologies.\nQualifications\nTwenty (20) years of experience as a Network Engineer and/or Systems Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
