This program is geared toward technical college students, actively enrolled at a four-year university, who will be rising into their junior or senior years. However, strong underclassmen may be considered if they have declared their major and have completed qualified coursework.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide IT, Cyber and basic systems support for the commercial products. \nSupport a series of IT Cybersecurity efforts as part of a project team.\nBecome familiar with the high level operational and maintenance tasks on programs.\nLearn about the different types of IT technology (ex. VMware, Cisco, Red Hat, Microsoft).\nLearn about Peraton and project culture.#PeratonIntern\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nHS Diploma and some advanced level training. \nUS Citizenship. \nHave completed progress toward a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field.\nFoundational education in cybersecurity technologies and processes.\nHands on experience with cybersecurity tools through coursework and/or prior internships.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and concepts.\nSelf-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player.\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\nDesired Qualifications:\n3.0 and above GPA.\nExposure to Agile software development processes.\nExposure to cloud computing environments.\nHands-on experience with cyber tools: Wireshark, Metasploit, Kali Linux, etc.\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
