Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nPeraton is hiring an experienced Systems Administrator for its' Product Data Systems Support (PDSS) program located at Robins Air Force Base.\nLocation: On-site at Robins AFB, GA\nIn this role, you will:\nProvide hands-on administration, maintenance, and technical support for Windows-based systems in a Department of Defense (DoD) or comparable enterprise environment. \nResolve system incidents, perform software and account administration, maintain technical documentation, and coordinate with users and technical teams to sustain reliable and secure IT services.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nInstall, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot software, operating systems, and supporting infrastructure.\nManage user accounts, groups, access permissions, and file-share access using Active Directory and related tools.\nInvestigate, diagnose, and resolve system incidents, service requests, and escalated end-user issues in accordance with established procedures and service-level requirements.\nMonitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability; identify issues and coordinate corrective actions with appropriate technical teams.\nMaintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and incident-resolution notes.\nSupport backup, restoration, patching, vulnerability remediation, and change-management activities, as assigned.\nCoordinate with network, cybersecurity, database, application, vendor, and help desk personnel to resolve cross-functional technical issues.\nCommunicate system status, technical risks, service impacts, and recommended actions to technical personnel and nontechnical stakeholders.\nSupport validation activities for regulated IT systems, including maintaining required procedures, documentation, status reporting, and coordination with clients, developers, and operational personnel, as applicable.\nMonitor and support compliance with applicable Government audit, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements relevant to assigned systems.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant experience; or HS and 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.\nExperience with software installation, upgrades, configuration, and troubleshooting.\nExperience supporting DoD networks or comparable enterprise environments.\nKnowledge of IT troubleshooting, documentation, and system-support practices.\nCurrent CompTIA Security+ certification.\nU.S. citizenship required. \nAbility to obtain a Secret security clearance.\nAbility to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of DoD security requirements.\nExperience with Active Directory, Windows file shares, user-account administration, and permissions management.\nKnowledgeable in databases and client database connections.\nKnowledgeable with system monitoring, patch management, backup and recovery, and vulnerability remediation.\nCurrent or recent CAC, issued within the past 90 days.\nActive DoD Secret clearance, or an inactive Secret clearance that has been inactive for no more than two years.\nExperience supporting regulated IT systems or maintaining compliance-related technical documentation.\nTarget Salary Range\n$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
