Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nMid-level System Engineers employ a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the NGA to ensure timely and accurate execution of corporate mission and functions.\nDuties include: \nAssesses corporate IT change requests against current enterprise capabilities, policy and strategy. \nCollaborates with stakeholders to identify and document IT functional requirements to inform solution cost estimating and implementation by the service provider.\nConducts planning, analysis and traceability of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems or workflows. \nAssists in the translation of customer needs into derived systems/capability requirements. \nAssists in performing user acceptance testing for corporate applications or services.\nAssists the Government in performing systems implementation activities.\nAssists with Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (COAs), and Engineering Assessments.\nAssists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management, system engineering, and risk management of corporate applications or services.\nAssists the Government in managing customer capability change requests (CRQ), related requirements documentation and activities within a centralized portal/database.\nLocation: This position is 100% onsite in Springfield, Virginia. Remote or hybrid work is not available.\nQualifications\nPeraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 6+ years of work experience as a System Engineer.\n6+ years of work experience in government or industry. Relevant work area(s) include: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of complex Information System.\nTS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.\nDesired:\nPrevious NGA, IC or DoD program/project work experience.\nDemonstrated experience documenting functional requirements\nTarget Salary Range\n$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
