Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nPeraton is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development of a government customer’s future architecture, leveraging systems engineering best practices at a customer location in Chantilly, Virginia.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nResponsible for the creation and maintenance of a department-side architecture tool, leveraging Model-Based Systems Engineering via the Cameo application suite\nIn concert with team members, collaborate with department teams and external stakeholders to gather future architecture requirements, functions, and behaviors as well as gather applicable characteristics of existing systems\nDevelop detailed diagrams to capture information gathered from various stakeholders in an MBSE approach\nPresent architecture products to stakeholders for feedback and update to meet evolving needs\nSupport the development of requirements documents based on the future architecture\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive TS/SCI with relevant polygraph\nMinimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.\nPrevious experience with the IC\nGood time management skills; ability to support multiple projects; ability to multi-task\nMust be a team player and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team as well as work independently with minimal supervision\nDemonstrated ability to quickly ramp-up to support customer's needs, clearly communicate (orally and written) ideas, take initiative to provide creative solutions to challenges and/or systemic problems\nProactive and forward-leaningStrong interpersonal skills\nSystems Engineering experience to include:Development of CONOPS/Use Cases\nAbility to decompose system functions and behaviors\nRequirements development and management\n\nDesired Qualifications\nWorking knowledge of MBSE\nBenefits: Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\nTarget Salary Range\n$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
