This role requires a dynamic leader who can interface with senior government stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors, drive complex projects from concept through deployment, and provide technical guidance on government contracting and acquisition activities.\nResponsibilities may include but are not limited to:\nProject Management and Technical Leadership\nEstablish scope, metrics, roadmaps, and deliverables for AI/ML and data analytics projects\nPrioritize requirements with program teams using Agile methodologies\nIdentify risks and develop/monitor mitigations\nProvide technical support and guidance to COTRs on contract performance and technical matters\nMonitor and respond to action items, process access requests, and coordinate preparation of weekly highlights\nSupport division leadership by maintaining high-level awareness of all AI/ML projects across the division\nMentor junior staff and interns\n Systems Engineering, Documentation, and Knowledge Management\nDocument workflows, processes, and requirements\nProduce a wide range of documentation including senior leadership briefings, strategic plans, CONOPS, risk matrices, etc.\nMaintain knowledge repositories (Confluence, Hive) and distribution lists\nStakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Coordination\nCoordinate and facilitate TEMs with government stakeholders, development teams, and vendors\nServe as liaison between division and department front office team\nCoordinate vendor activities across multiple contracts, removing blockers and ensuring alignment\nFacilitate demonstrations, training sessions, and outreach activities\nCoordinate weekly division meetings with comprehensive action tracking and follow-up\nTechnical Evaluation and Analysis\nTest and evaluate developing AI/ML platforms and capabilities to assess functionality and readiness\nAnalyze data and create user feedback mechanisms to inform development priorities and decision-making\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation and Clearance\nActive TS/SCI with poly clearance\nMinimum of 12 years of experience with BS/BA, 10 years with MS/MA, or 7 years with PhD\nFour additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree\nLeadership and Government Engagement\nProven ability to interface with senior government leadership and influence critical program decisions\nExperience working with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, project managers, and end users\nKnowledge of government contracting and acquisition processes, including FAR, OTA, and COTR roles\nAbility to provide technical support and guidance to COTRs\nSystems Engineering and Project Management\nStrong experience with Agile methodologies and sprint-based development\nUnderstanding of software and system development lifecycles\nExperience managing full project lifecycles from concept through deployment\nExperience documenting workflows, processes, and CONOPS\nKnowledge of requirements gathering, analysis, and prioritization methods\nExperience identifying project risks and developing/monitoring mitigations\n AI/ML and Data Analytics\nExperience with AI/ML technologies and model integration into systems\nFamiliarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)\nUnderstanding of deep learning concepts and architectures\nExperience evaluating or testing developing AI/ML platforms\nAbility to collect, analyze, and visualize data to support decision-making\nExperience capturing UI/UX requirements to inform product development\nExperience working with large language models (LLMs)\nCommunication and Coordination\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging to technical and executive audiences\nStrong facilitation and coordination skills across cross-functional teams\nExperience producing technical documentation, presentations, A&A artifacts, and leadership briefings\n Tools and Technical Skills\nSelf-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills\nProficiency with collaboration and knowledge management platforms (Confluence, Hive)\nProficiency with MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint\nStrong organizational skills managing multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment\nDesired Qualifications\n Technical Knowledge\nBackground in cloud computing (AWS preferred; This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
