This is an on-site position.\nKey Responsibilities:\nServe as the single point of accountability to DIR for performance and incident management across all technology domains.\nProvide technology planning, optimization, service evolution, and innovation across:\nPrivate Cloud\nNetwork\nMainframe\nAI Platform, if implemented\nGovern the Infrastructure Reference Architecture, including:\nQuarterly architecture updates\nCMDB integration\nStandard products list management\nMonitor the environment for nonstandard product introduction and facilitate appropriate governance decisions.\nCoordinate with the Security Director on threat remediation and security posture.\nManage infrastructure currency, maintaining systems within one major release of the current version.\nProvide technical leadership and governance across all applicable infrastructure and technology domains.\nEnsure technology decisions remain aligned with enterprise architecture, service requirements, security requirements, and contractual objectives.\nProvide cross-domain technical leadership in a complex multi-vendor/MSI government IT operating environment.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\n10 years of infrastructure architecture and technology leadership experience.\nDeep expertise in private cloud platforms, including VMware, Nutanix, or equivalent hyperconverged infrastructure.\nHands-on data center infrastructure experience, including:\nCompute\nStorage, including SAN/NAS and tiered storage\nServer virtualization\nWorking knowledge of data center networking, including:\nMPLS\nSDN\nCloud connectivity\nFamiliarity with mainframe operations, including z/OS or equivalent, from an architectural perspective.\nExperience with AI/ML infrastructure platforms or cloud-hosted AI services.\nDemonstrated ability to govern enterprise technology standards and reference architectures.\nExperience operating in multi-vendor government IT/MSI operating model environments.\nStrong cross-domain technical leadership and executive communication skills.\nAbility to credibly represent Private Cloud, Network, Mainframe, AI/ML, infrastructure, and related technology domains to senior government stakeholders.\nMust be a US Citizen\nMust be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTX-RAMP\nFedRAMP Moderate\nCJIS\nTAC 202\nPreferred Certifications:\nCloud architecture certification strongly preferred, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nITIL v4 Foundation preferred.\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
