Working under the direction of the Program Manager, the selected candidate will assist in managing cost, schedule, and technical performance across the program's broad portfolio of application sustainment, modernization, and security activities.\nThis role is ideal for an early-to-mid career project management professional with a strong technical aptitude and an interest in growing within a large-scale Federal IT program. The Technical Project Manager will support Agile sprint coordination, assist in maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), prepare status reports and briefings, track risks and issues, and serve as a coordination point between technical teams, subcontractors, and Government stakeholders. A Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.\nThis is a 100% remote role.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\n10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience\nMust be a US Citizen\nAbility to Obtain Public Trust clearance\nExperience in project coordination, project management, or program support roles, preferably within IT or software development programs.\nWorking knowledge of project management fundamentals including schedule management, risk tracking, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience supporting sprint-based delivery teams.\nProficiency with project management and collaboration tools including Microsoft Project, Service Now, SharePoint, and JIRA.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear, concise status reports and briefing materials for Government and senior leadership audiences.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, track deliverable deadlines, and escalate issues in a timely manner.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional DoD program environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or active pursuit; Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) accepted.\nSAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or equivalent Agile certification.\nPrior experience supporting DoD or Federal government IT programs with formal deliverable obligations.\nExperience with DevSecOps program environments and sprint-level project tracking.\nFamiliarity with ServiceNow for workflow and incident management.\nActive Security + Certification\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
