You will help shape concepts, architectures, and model-based engineering artifacts that ensure digital-twin solutions are aligned, interoperable, and technically sound across the broader system landscape.\nThe ideal candidate will possess foundational experience supporting configuration management processes, technical documentation development, change control, and operational support activities within DoD, aerospace, cyber, or mission-focused environments while collaborating closely with engineering, software development, cybersecurity, integration, and operations teams to ensure technical accuracy, audit readiness, and configuration integrity across the program lifecycle.\nWhat you’ll do:\nLead the development, maintenance, and enforcement of organizational documentation standards, style guidelines, and best practices across software and systems engineering programs.\nProduce clear, accurate, and structured documentation, including system architecture guides, API documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational run books, and customer-facing deliverables.\nManage and publish classified technical documentation in a SCIF environment in strict accordance with federal security protocols, classification guidelines, and government contract requirements.\nDirect end-to-end documentation lifecycle workflows, including drafting, version control, technical review, stakeholder reconciliation, approvals, and secure publication.\nCollaborate with developers, systems/test engineers, program managers, and government stakeholders to translate complex engineering concepts into accessible, high-quality technical content.\nCreate executive-level briefings, white papers, technical reports, and strategic communications for internal leadership and government clients\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nThis position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top-Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI. The candidate must maintain the clearance\nAssociate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience; OR Master’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of experience; OR Doctoral degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
