Meade, MD area.\nResponsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development by leading major proposals personally, or through subordinate program/project managers. Manages a directorate within a division. Has supervisory and developmental responsibilities within a functional area. The program director manages one or more projects or programs, may manage an operating office, and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines. Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. Acts as a technical liaison with vendors. Assists in proposal process and coordinates with Pricing Department when required. Responsible for all phases of the program budget. Performs analysis for contract reviews with various software. Develops Quality Assurance Programs for all products and services. Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete task. Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance. Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.\nOther Responsibilities Include:\nIdentify, qualify, and track new and adjacent opportunities across DISA and the broader DoD network community (task orders, recompetes, modifications, and new vehicles)\nBuild and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, program offices, and industry partners\nSupport opportunity shaping through customer meetings, industry days, RFI/Sources Sought responses, white papers, and capability briefings\nMaintain pipeline data in the CRM and contribute to gate reviews, bid/no-bid decisions, and win strategies\nIdentify teaming partners and help coordinate teaming agreements, NDAs, and partner data calls\nAssist the Program Manager with day-to-day execution of contract activities, including schedule, deliverables, and CDRL tracking\nSupport risk and issue management, action item tracking, and customer correspondence\nHelp identify in-scope growth and organic expansion opportunities within the existing program\nDevelop technical and management content for proposals, white papers, RFI responses, and capability statements\nTranslate program performance and technical solutions into compelling win themes, discriminators, and past performance write-ups\nCoordinate with SMEs, engineers, pricing, and proposal teams to meet submission deadlines\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\n16 years of experience, may have management experience\nExperience supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency\nUS Citizenship\nActive Secret Clearance\nWorking knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle, including the FAR/DFARS, RFIs, RFPs, task orders, and contract modifications\n\nDemonstrated ability to write clear, persuasive technical and management proposal content under tight deadlines\n\nStrong customer-facing communication skills and comfort presenting to government and senior leadership\n\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent priorities across program and growth activities\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with NaaS/XaaS, managed services, and as-a-service delivery models\nExperience supporting pricing data calls, BOE development, or cost volume inputs\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
