Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nPeraton seeks a Training and UX Specialist to support DCDC with the design, development, and delivery of training programs and user experience solutions for use across the DCDC enterprise.\nLocation: Fort Meade, MD.\nIn this role, you will serves as the primary learning architect driving training strategy, UX standards, and knowledge management frameworks that accelerate analytic workforce development across classification levels.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and development of comprehensive training programs, curricula, and instructional materials. \nConduct training needs assessments by engaging government leads, team leads, and operators.\nDesign and deliver multi-modal instruction tailored to technical and non-technical audiences. \nApply user experience (UX) design principles to evaluate and improve the usability of analytic dashboards, platforms, and tools.\nDevelop and maintain shared collaborative environments to facilitate hands-on learning and cross-team knowledge sharing. \nKnowledge management -- documentation standards, data dictionaries, workflow guides, methodology documentation, and SOPs.\nCoordinate with DAOs, mission partners, and USCYBERCOM stakeholders to synchronize training content, ensure analytic consistency, and support cross-organizational knowledge sharing.\nContinuously improve training programs and UX designs based on user feedback, platform updates, and evolving mission requirements. \nQualifications\nRequired:\nMinimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider HS+12 or Associates+10 years of experience.\nProfessional experience in instructional design, training development, technical training delivery, and/or UX design in a technical or government environment. \nDemonstrated experience designing and delivering training programs for complex technical platforms or data/analytics tools to mixed-skill audiences. \nProficiency with instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent) and adult learning principles. \nDemonstrated experience applying UX design methods including user research, usability testing, wireframing, and iterative design to improve tool adoption and operator effectiveness. \nExperience developing knowledge management products including SOPs, data dictionaries, workflow documentation, and lessons learned frameworks in a collaborative DoD or federal environment. \nExperience with collaborative platforms and shared environments such as Jupyter Notebooks, SharePoint, Confluence, or equivalent tools. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible training materials for diverse audiences. \nU.S. Citizenship required.\nActive TS with ability to obtain SCI\nPreferred:\nDirect experience supporting training or UX programs within DoD cyberspace operations, cyber defense, or intelligence analytic environments. \nFamiliarity with DASC-supported platforms: Caspian, JCRS-D, JCWA (UP, JCC2, JCHK, PCTE), or comparable DoD enterprise data environments. \nExperience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent) and Learning Management Systems (LMS). \nBackground in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent prototyping platforms. \nExperience developing training content in support of Agile/Scrum delivery environments; ability to integrate training into sprint cycles and release processes. \nFamiliarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework, cyber threat analytics concepts, or data pipeline workflows sufficient to develop technically credible training content. \nExperience with Section 508 compliance and accessible design standards for government digital products. \nCertification in instructional design (e.g., ATD CPTD, CPLP) or UX design (e.g., Nielsen Norman UX Certification, UXQB). \nDoD 8140 qualifications, training, and certifications for Training Developer (OPM 32) or User Experience Researcher (OPM 46).\nTarget Salary Range\n$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
