You will validate firmware functionality, investigate issues across hardware and firmware, and support reliable product performance.\nThe ideal candidate should understand electrical and electronic system topology and be comfortable interpreting ladder diagrams and electrical schematics.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute test plans, test cases and procedures based on firmware specifications and system requirements.\nPerform hands-on firmware testing, with a focus on digital and analog I/O functionality.\nValidate digital input detection, output switching, signal timing and response under different operating conditions.\nTest analog input and output accuracy, scaling, operating ranges and boundary conditions.\nSet up test hardware, connect I/O devices and simulate signals to verify firmware behaviour.\nInterpret ladder diagrams, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics to understand system operation and define test scenarios.\nInvestigate failures, reproduce defects and isolate issues involving firmware, hardware or system configuration.\nUse laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and power supplies during testing.\nPerform regression testing following firmware updates and defect fixes.\nDocument test results, report defects clearly and work with firmware and hardware engineers to verify resolutions.\nRequirements\nDiploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.\nHands-on experience in embedded firmware testing and validation.\nPractical experience testing digital and analog I/O interfaces.\nGood understanding of electrical and electronic system topology, signal flow and hardware–firmware interaction.\nAbility to read and interpret ladder diagrams and electrical schematics.\nFamiliarity with laboratory test equipment and systematic troubleshooting methods.\nAbility to translate technical requirements into clear, repeatable test cases.\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and clear technical documentation.\nAdded Advantages\nExperience with PLCs, industrial controllers or automation systems.\nFamiliarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, Ethernet or serial interfaces.\nExperience with Python or other scripting tools for test automation.\nExposure to hardware-in-the-loop testing and automated regression testing.\nTo apply,simply click the \"Apply\" button or send your updated profile to  \nEA Licence No.:18S9405 / EA Reg.
