Products include Body Control Modules, Zone Controllers, Door Control Modules, Telematics Modules, High Performance Computing Units and Seat Control Units.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop mechanical and electromechanical components using CATIA V5, including 3D modelling, assemblies and detailed 2D drawings.\nDevelop plastic injection-moulded and stamped metal parts to meet automotive specifications, product requirements and manufacturing needs.\nPrepare and maintain customer, manufacturing and supplier drawings in accordance with applicable international standards and customer requirements.\nApply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and conduct tolerance stack-up analyses to ensure assembly fit and product function.\nPerform structural engineering calculations and verify designs through prototype evaluation and engineering testing.\nWork with local and international suppliers from concept development through tooling, sample evaluation and part release.\nCollaborate with cross-functional and global engineering teams to resolve design, assembly and manufacturing issues.\nDevelop design concepts and assess mechanical feasibility for new projects and business opportunities.\nMaintain technical product documentation throughout the product lifecycle, including drawings, specifications and variant configurations.\nManage engineering changes, including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), drawing revisions and implementation tracking.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\nAt least 3 years of relevant mechanical design experience.\nStrong, hands-on CATIA V5 experience is essential, including part design, assembly design and drafting.\nPractical experience designing plastic injection-moulded and metal stamped components.\nGood understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and tolerance stack-up analysis.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, material selection and design for manufacturability and assembly.\nAbility to perform engineering calculations and support design verification through testing.\nStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.\nAbility to explain technical concepts clearly and participate in technical discussions with international teams and suppliers.\nPreferred Experience:\nMechanical design experience in automotive electronics or electronic enclosures.\nFamiliarity with automotive development processes, customer specifications and engineering change management.\nKnowledge of quality and risk assessment tools such as DFMEA, DRBFM, FTA, Six Sigma or A3 problem-solving.\nTo apply,simply click the \"Apply\" button or send your updated profile to  \nEA Licence No.:18S9405 / EA Reg.
