You will take ownership of complex incidents, restore services, and improve the reliability of the infrastructure through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.\nResponsibilities:\nDiagnose and resolve L3 incidents involving physical servers, storage arrays, management controllers and virtual infrastructure.\nAdminister VMware vSphere/vCenter or Microsoft Hyper-V, including hypervisors, clusters and management platforms.\nManage Windows and Linux server configuration, hardening, patching and upgrades.\nProvide infrastructure-level support for SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL, including availability, backup and performance issues.\nMaintain backup and recovery platforms, and support disaster recovery and business continuity testing.\nLead root-cause analysis for P1/P2 incidents and implement corrective actions.\nMaintain technical documentation, runbooks and configuration records.\nParticipate as a primary or secondary escalation contact in a 24x7 on-call rotation.\nRequirements:\nAt least 6 years of experience in systems, hosting or virtualization engineering, including ownership of L3 incidents.\nHands-on experience administering VMware vSphere/vCenter; VMware VCP certification preferred.\nStrong Windows Server or Linux administration skills.
