The role includes improving Jira workflows, automation, dashboards, and reporting to manage vulnerabilities throughout their lifecycle.\nCandidates must have at least 1 year of hands-on penetration testing experience.\nKey Responsibilities:\nWorkflow Development & Automation:\nEnhance vulnerability triage workflows and automation capabilities within Jira.\nDevelop dashboards and reports to monitor vulnerability status, remediation progress, and lifecycle performance.\nImplement automation to improve finding correlation, duplicate identification, and tracking.\nSupport integration with AI-powered penetration testing tools.\nVulnerability Triage & Application Security:\nReview and triage findings generated by AI-powered penetration testing tools.\nAssess exploitability, severity, technical impact, and business impact to prioritise vulnerabilities.\nIdentify false positives and duplicate findings using supporting evidence.\nCoordinate with application teams to review findings, agree on remediation plans, and resolve technical queries.\nReview code changes, application logs, and supporting evidence to assess remediation.\nRetest vulnerabilities and validate the effectiveness of fixes.\nRecommend closure, risk acceptance, or severity adjustments based on evidence and established approval processes.\nProcess Management & Governance:\nManage vulnerability tracking in Jira from identification through remediation and closure.\nCoordinate stakeholders and facilitate the resolution of outstanding issues.\nEscalate critical, disputed, or overdue vulnerabilities.\nProduce vulnerability governance reports and metrics.\nSupport management updates with clear reporting on risks, remediation progress, and unresolved issues.\nRequirements:\nMinimum 1 year of hands-on penetration testing experience, including identifying, validating, and retesting security vulnerabilities.\nPractical experience in vulnerability management, triage, prioritisation, and risk assessment.\nWorking knowledge of application security, common application vulnerabilities, and remediation approaches.\nAbility to assess exploitability and distinguish valid findings from false positives.\nExperience using Jira for vulnerability tracking, workflow management, dashboards, and reporting.\nAbility to review code changes, logs, and technical evidence to validate remediation.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with application teams and management.\nPreferred Experience:\nJira administration and workflow automation.\nIntegration of security tools with vulnerability management workflows.\nExposure to AI-powered penetration testing tools.\nDevelopment of vulnerability governance metrics and management reports.\nSkills Priority:\nVulnerability Management, Triage & Risk Assessment\nApplication Security\nPenetration Testing\nJira Administration & Workflow Management\nStakeholder Management\nTo apply,simply click the \"Apply\" button or send your updated profile to  \nEA Licence No.:18S9405 / EA Reg.
