That's Perdue.\nSummary\nLead the team that keeps our fleet running safely, reliably, and ready for the road. As a Garage Supervisor, you will oversee skilled fleet technicians in diagnosing equipment issues and performing high quality maintenance and repairs in accordance with OEM specifications, DOT safety regulations, and company standards. You will provide hands-on leadership, promote a safe and efficient shop environment, and ensure fleet readiness to support daily operations. This role is ideal for a strong leader who excels at developing teams, solving mechanical challenges, and driving performance and reliability across fleet operations.\nThe salary range for this position is $68,000.00 - $85,000.00per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).\nIn addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.\nPrincipal Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nOversee fleet technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment.\nProvide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a skilled and efficient team.\nEnforce safety protocols and maintain a culture of accountability and excellence.\nEnsure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with OEM specifications and DOT safety regulations.\nMonitor work quality to maintain high standards of service and vehicle reliability.\nSchedule and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime and maximize fleet availability.\nEnsure all maintenance activities align with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.\nConduct regular inspections to identify and address safety risks.\nMaintain accurate service records and documentation for compliance audits.\nAssign tasks and manage workloads to optimize productivity.\nMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for parts and supplies.\nImplement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and reduce costs.\nWork closely with drivers, operations teams, and management to address maintenance needs.\nProvide reports on fleet performance, maintenance trends, and cost analysis.\nFoster teamwork and effective communication within the garage.\nTroubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical support to technicians.\nAddress unexpected breakdowns promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations.\nMake data-driven decisions to improve fleet maintenance strategies.\nMinimum Education and Experience\nHigh School Graduate or GED.\nStrong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.\nStrong understanding of mechanical processes.\nKnowledge of standard computer software applications.\nMechanical experience.\nValid driver’s license.\nPreferred Education and Experience\n1-3 years prior supervisory experience.\nACE certifications.\nValid CDL.\nPhysical Requirements and Environmental Factors\nAble to move freely throughout the garage facility to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 50'); carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds); exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit); humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).\nYou must be able to wear protective equipment.\nAble to make road service calls in all weather conditions.\nPerdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
