That's Perdue.\nSummary\nDrive efficiency, reliability, and performance across our facility by keeping maintenance operations planned, organized, and one step ahead. As a Maintenance Planner, you will coordinate manpower, materials, parts, and equipment access to ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to production. You will partner closely with Production and Maintenance teams to plan, schedule, and track all preventative and planned maintenance activities while maintaining accurate records that support data driven decisions and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys solving problems before they happen, and takes pride in keeping operations running at their best.\nSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm\nPrincipal Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nDevelop plans for all maintenance activities, including maintenance of Maximo and PM System data and reporting.\n\nAnalyzing data for use in maintenance planning and scheduling; maintaining and developing Best Practices for preventive maintenance.\n\nEnsuring a continuing review of P.M. work orders as they relate to equipment history; making recommended modifications to optimize equipment reliability and maintenance labor utilization; Learning universal maintenance standards to develop reasonable expectancies for the time to complete maintenance tasks.\n\nIdentify and label all new equipment in keeping with company standards and keeping records current; use Key Performance Indicators to provide fact-based feedback to the Manager.\n\nPlan maintenance work with regard to level of skill and safety training required to complete task; review SAP/Maximo data from other locations with similar equipment and report findings and recommendations.\n\nAdministering maintenance shift scheduling, work order backlog, and recommended planning for scheduled downtime work, including scheduling availability of parts; Interfacing with engineering, local management, Operations Support, and various other corporate departments as necessary (and outside entities when working on special projects).\n\nInterface with Operations Support concerning appropriate reports to develop, track and report to management.\n\nDevelop a Time-phased plan of activities.\n\nThe time-phased plan indicates what is to be done, when, by whom, and with what equipment.\n\nProper Scheduling achieves multiple objectives: high efficiency, low inventory, and excellent customer service.\n\nThe setting of order and time for planned events.\n\nTaking decisions regarding the allocation of available capacity or resources (equipment, labor and space) to jobs, activities and tasks over time.\n\nMinimum Education and Experience\nCollege degree or equivalent experience.\n\n5+ years of experience.\n\nSpecialized training or education (post-high school) in maintenance.\n\nPhysical Requirements and Environmental Factors\nWork environment includes, but is not limited to, a normal office environment and construction site as well as climate extremes found in a poultry processing operation and a wastewater treatment facility.\n\nThis position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities.\n\nThis position requires an associate to be able to be exposed to all chemicals found in a poultry processing operation and a wastewater treatment facility.\n\nThis associate must wear and/or use protective safety equipment required for the job and for various locations.\n\nThis associate must be able to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings.\n\nPerdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
