That's Perdue.\nSummary\nAs the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll manage and mentor a skilled maintenance team, plan and execute all maintenance activities, and keep production running at peak efficiency while championing safe work practices. You’ll own preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and coordinate rebuilds or replacements to minimize downtime. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on solving technical challenges, developing talent, and driving reliable, high-performing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nSchedule: Monday through Friday 10:00pm - 7:00am\nPrincipal Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nEnsure all plant equipment is in top operating condition and available for production as needed.\n\nOrganize and plan regular maintenance work on all equipment and systems within the plant.\n\nReview preventive procedures and evaluate and maximize maintenance processes by collaborating with operations departments to identify problems and requirements.\n\nSupervise maintenance associates and ensure compliance with company safety regulations, minimizing personal injury risks, environmental impact, and asset damage.\n\nMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal codes and regulations.\n\nSelect, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline staff.\n\nEvaluate the functionality and reliability of facility systems and equipment. Improve system performance by studying results and identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.\n\nMinimum Education and Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or related discipline. In lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience will be considered.\n\n0-3 years of related experience.\n\nPrior supervisory experience.\n\nTroubleshooting ability and technical knowledge of production, mechanical, and electrical equipment.\n\nStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.\n\nPhysical Requirements and Environmental Factors\nMay need to move light equipment or supplies and access files, supplies, and equipment.\n\nWhen in a plant environment:\nExposure to wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.\n\nExposure to temperatures ranging from 28°F to 100°F with ambient and 100% humidity.\n\nHandling product at 25°F to 50°F.\n\nExposure to noise levels ranging from 50 dB to 110 db.\n\nExposure to chemicals used in poultry, food, and processing facilities.\n\nFrequent exposure to large commercial vehicles, including tractors and trailers.\n\nMust wear and use protective and safety equipment as required.\n\nPerdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
