That's Perdue.\nSummary\nWe are seeking a Settlement Coordinator to play a key role in supporting complex accounting activities across general ledger, plant accounting, payroll, and live accounting. In this role, you’ll help ensure the accuracy of financial and statistical records and coordinate weekly broiler producer payments by reviewing data and verifying edits prior to processing. This position offers the opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a collaborative environment while contributing to the smooth and accurate flow of financial operations.\nThis position has a target wage of $23.00 - $34.25per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.\nIn addition to hourly wages, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.\nSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm\nPrincipal Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nCoordinate and perform all tasks associated with generating producer settlements on a weekly basis.\nPay and collection of receivables.\nReviews and audits process for designated locations/operations.\nPerform all Producer maintenance such as bank assignments, Perdue notes, and personal account activity.\nMaintain filing related to Producer's contract files and settlement files.\nAssist in the processing of Ingredient Invoices.\nPerform Producer File Audits.\nCoordinate and perform all tasks related to electronic file storage.\nProvide ad hoc settlement analysis as needed for department.\nTrain to become the fuel backup for both metered fuel and drop billing.\nMinimum Education and Experience\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\n4 years’ related experience.\nPC spreadsheet and data entry skills.\nMust be detail oriented and able to multi-task.\nCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.\nExcellent communication, administrative and organizational skills.\nPreferred Education and Experience\nAssociate degree in Accounting or related field.\nPhysical Requirements and Environmental Factors\nPosition is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.\nMay need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.\nMay need to access files, supplies and equipment.\nWork activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.\nPerdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
