This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nAccurately process and apply customer payments across multiple companies and bank accounts, including ACH transfers, wire payments, lockbox deposits, and credit card transactions.\nResearch and resolve unidentified receipts, unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and posting errors to ensure accurate financial records.\nPrepare and enter journal entries into NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.\nGenerate and assist with monthly and ad hoc financial reports using NetSuite to support accounting operations and business needs.\nReview and research outstanding customer credits and discrepancies on accounts receivable (AR) aging reports.\nManage and coordinate the escheatment process, including researching outstanding balances, maintaining records, and supporting compliance with applicable requirements.\nCollaborate with the Collections team to investigate and resolve customer payment issues, account discrepancies, and other AR-related inquiries.\nPrepare and perform assigned balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.\nAssist with month-end closing activities, including account reviews, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.\nMaintain accurate and organized accounting records, ensuring proper documentation of financial transactions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain data accuracy.\nWork collaboratively with other members of the Accounting and Finance teams to support daily operations and departmental objectives.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support evolving business needs and departmental priorities.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.\nPrevious experience with accounts receivable, cash applications, journal entries, or account reconciliations is a plus.\nExperience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.\nSkills and Competencies\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills required.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify solutions.\nExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.\nAbility to learn and adapt quickly to new accounting systems, software, and processes.\nUnderstanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions.\nAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.\nStrong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial information.\nWhy Join PerfectServe?\nAt PerfectServe, we are transforming healthcare communication and collaboration to help clinicians deliver better care.
