We combine a passion for innovation with a commitment to quality, sustainability, and fun.\nOur colleagues in the Finance team are eager to team up with you to make sure everyone can enjoy our delicious freshmakers and sweets every day.\nRtR Fixed Asset Accountant\nLocation: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid)\nContract: Full-time, Permanent\nTeam: Record to Report (RtR), Finance\nReporting to: SSC Manager Amercias BU\nWhere we need you:\nAs our RtR Fixed Asset Accountant, you will become part of our international Shared Services Center (SSC), supporting fixed asset accounting for the USA and Canada.\nReporting to the SSC Manager Amercias BU, you will join an international Record to Report team located across Poland and the United States, working closely with colleagues from Finance, Operations and IT. As part of our global SSC organization supporting Europe and North America, you will help ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls and continuous process improvement.\nIn this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end accounting for fixed assets, ensuring the accuracy of the fixed asset register while supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities. You will also partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors to maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies in a dynamic multinational FMCG environment.\nYour core responsibilities at a glance:\nManage the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisitions, capitalisations, transfers and disposals.\nMaintain the fixed asset register, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.\nCalculate and post depreciation in line with company policies and accounting standards.\nPerform monthly reconciliations between the fixed asset subledger and the general ledger.\nSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets.\nEnsure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP and internal control requirements.\nPrepare fixed asset reports, analyses and documentation for management and external auditors.\nCollaborate with Finance, Operations and IT teams to ensure accurate asset tracking and reporting.\nDrive continuous improvements within the RtR process.\nThe ingredients of Perfetti Van Melle - is this your flavor?\nWe are Taste Makers in Candy!
