The position will be responsible for accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting and will work closely with management to analyze overall operational performance. This will be a key position in the group and will be heavily relied upon to ensure accurate financial information is produced and appropriate accounting controls are followed. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to use accounting knowledge and previous experience to add value and assist in meeting the department's objectives while working in a fast-paced, continually changing, and high-growth environment.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform normal month-end closing procedures including journal entry preparation, reconciliations and variance analysis of expenses.\nProvide supporting schedules and analysis during the annual external audits.\nAssist with preparation and review of financial reports including balance sheets and income statements.\nImplement process and system improvements as needed by the business and ensure the appropriate accounting treatment is setup.\nAnalyze financial data and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.\nOther accounting duties as requested and/or assigned.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from an accredited university.\n3+ years of accounting experience at a staff accountant level or higher.\nCPA certification preferred.\nStrong analytical, verbal, written, and problem-solving skills.\nComputer experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.\nOperational experience with a major accounting system (ex: NetSuite, Intacct, Oracle, SAP etc.)\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and have the ability to interpret and implement new accounting guidance in an increasingly complex business environment.\nExperience in documenting and improving existing systems and processes.\nMust have a proactive, positive attitude and be comfortable working in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.\nAbility to act as a change agent and have experience in improving processes.\nHigh attention to detail and ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.\nAbility to build and maintain positive working relationships with other departments throughout the company.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team to foster a collaborative environment.\nPossess a strong initiative to search for and implement process improvements and efficiencies.\nAI Fluency:\nLevel 1: Basic AI User (Foundation) Uses approved AI tools to support daily work, writes basic prompts, and reviews outputs for accuracy while following security, privacy, and Responsible AI
