In this role, you will be responsible for leading team members through the process of manufacturing, assembling and packaging products and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.\nThe production lead will make decisions on the planning and utilization of personnel, equipment and other resources used in production process to meet daily customer demand and production schedule requirements.\nEssential Job Duties & Responsibilities\nMaintain a clean, safe work environment and instruct team members on emergency procedures and proper use of safety equipment\nEnsure all regulatory and quality policies are being followed through the use of internal departmental audits and continual inspections along with initiating corrective action(s) as needed to resolve any non-conformity\nOrganize, plan and expedited work assignments to ensure customer demand and daily production goals are achieved\nSupport Management Objectives and transition team members through process and procedure changes that improve daily productivity, increase efficiency and profitability\nMaintain knowledge of all operations within assigned departments and Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and increase productivity\nEnsure that proper inventory levels are maintained and accurate while supporting inventory reduction initiatives\nTrain Employees to company standards and ensure all required policies and procedures are followed\nPerform machine setup and troubleshooting as required\nMaintain Attendance PTO/FH/Timesheets\nAssist in the evaluation, hiring, firing and disciplinary actions of employees\nAssist with daily operational Metrics\nComplete and maintain auditor certification training\nActively participate as a team member in all phases of the production process\nAttend all required meetings \nPerforms other duties as assigned\nJob Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations with previous supervisory experience \nExperience with Microsoft Office Software\nAbility to solve problems and can quickly adapt to changes on the production floor\nMust have effective communication skills, confidence and be able to coach, influence, and motivate your team\nHave integrity, be respectful, promote company values, and lead by example\nMust be versatile, flexible and able to adapt to change\nDelegate and facilitate as needed\nStreamline conflict and conflictive employees while being fair/impartial\nAbility to operate a fork truck\nBenefits\nOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.\nThis is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $23.00 - $25.00 and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
