Visit www.gscf.com to learn more.\nAbout the Role:\nThe Engineer, Technical Operations is focused on supporting the stability, reliability, and day-to-day operation of applications that support fund accounting, financial data processing, data transformations, and reporting functions. The role works closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to investigate issues, maintain application performance, and ensure accurate processing of financial and operational data.\nHow You Will Make an Impact:\nProvide technical and business support for GSCF applications supporting daily operations, fund accounting, financial reporting, and data processing functions.\nSupport data flows, data transformations, system integrations, and reporting processes to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial and operational data.\nWork closely with Product, Data Engineering, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reported application and data-related issues.\nAnalyze application, integration, and data processing issues using monitoring tools, ETL platforms, SQL, Snowflake, and other diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement solutions.\nProvide technical and business support for GSCF applications supporting fund accounting, financial reporting, and data processing functions.\nSupport data flows, data transformations, integrations, and reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial and operational data.\nWork closely with Product, Data Engineers, Infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve reported issues.\nAnalyze application, integration, and data processing issues using SQL, Snowflake, and Python.\nSupport data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.\nAssist in the generation and maintenance of financial, operational, and analytical reports.\nMonitor application performance and participate in root cause analysis activities for production incidents.\nAssess the impact of application issues and communicate findings to business and technology teams in a timely manner.\nDocument support procedures, operational runbooks, application workflows, and technical documentation.\nSupport release management activities, including testing, deployment validation, and production support.\nCollaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, Operations, and other business teams to understand requirements and support reporting needs.\nIdentify opportunities to improve operational processes, data quality, reporting accuracy, and application performance.\nAct as a subject matter resource for supported applications and related business processes.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience\nStrong SQL knowledge and experience with complex data analysis and troubleshooting\nExperience working with reporting tools, Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms\nExperience supporting data transformation, ETL, integration, or data processing applications\nExperience in root-cause analysis, report generation, and technical documentation\nKnowledge / experience in Python programming is preferred\nDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills\nClear oral and written communication skills in English\nMinimum 3 years of working experience in technical support, application support, technical operations, or related roles\nExperience supporting accounting systems, financial systems, or applications used by financial institutions is preferred\nUnderstanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial data processing is highly desirable\nKnowledge of data reconciliation, financial reporting, and data quality controls is an advantage\nCan-do and positive attitude with a strong ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment\nAbility to work well independently and as part of a global team\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate and reliable results\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other category protected by law. \nPrivacy Notice\nPlease note that your personal data will be processed in accordance with GSCF Privacy Notice for Job Candidates.
