This role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a production environment.\nResponsibilities\nAssemble mechanical parts and components using hand tools, jigs, and fixtures.\nFollow work instructions, assembly drawings,kittingWIand standard operating procedures (SOPs).\n\nInspect assembled units for accuracy, alignment, and quality compliance.\n\nPerform minor adjustments or rework to meet specifications.\n\nMaintain a clean and organized workstation.\n\nReport defects, shortages, or equipment issues to supervisors.\n\nSupport continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements.\n\nAdhere to workplace safety guidelines and use PPE appropriately.\n\nPerform other manufacturing-related duties as assigned by the supervisor to support overall production operations.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nHighschool diploma or equivalent; technical certificate preferred.\nBasic knowledge of mechanical assembly processes.\n\nAbility to use simple hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers).\n\nGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.\n\nAbility to read and follow basic technical drawings or instructions.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nPreferred Characteristics\nPossess a positive attitude and a sense of urgency to meet production demands and contribute to a collaborative work environment.\n\nHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced setting.\n\nGood verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment,demonstratingflexibility and cooperation in achieving common goals.\n\nProactive inidentifyingareas for improvement and actively contributing to enhancing workplace safety and product quality.\n\nPerkinElmer is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
