In this role, you will manage production Oracle 19g databases deployed on Oracle Exadata and enterprise Linux platforms, execute backup and disaster recovery strategies, fine-tune database performance, and maintain high-availability configurations including Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Data Guard.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDatabase Administration & Operations: Manage, monitor, patch, and maintain production Oracle 19g database environments in large-scale enterprise infrastructures.\n\nExadata Management: Administer, monitor, and maintain database environments running on Oracle Exadata Database Machine; utilize Exadata-specific features (Smart Scans, Storage Indexes, Hybrid Columnar Compression, and CellCLI/DCLI commands) to maximize throughput.\n\nHigh Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement, configure, and maintain Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Data Guard for minimal downtime and seamless failover.\n\nBackup & Recovery Management: Execute, automate, and periodically test database backup and disaster recovery plans using Oracle RMAN.\n\nPerformance Tuning: Perform comprehensive database-level performance tuning, analyzing AWR/ASH/ADDM reports, optimizing memory/storage parameters, and assisting application teams with complex SQL and PL/SQL optimization on Exadata storage.\n\nSystem & Storage Administration: Leverage advanced Unix/Linux file systems, ASM, and enterprise storage structures to optimize I/O; automate routine DBA maintenance via Shell scripting.\n\nVendor Support & Escalation: Log, escalate, and resolve technical service requests (SR) through Oracle Support / My Oracle Support (MOS).\n\nCross-Platform Support: Maintain database deployments across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, and Windows Server environments utilizing advanced operating system features.\n\nEducationBachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering\nOracle Certified Professional (OCP) in the DBA track.\n\nAppropriate professional certification in Linux OS (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, or Oracle Linux Certified Implementation Specialist).\n\nExperienceAt least 5 years\nThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service\n\nAdditional RequirementsAge 28 to 45 years\n Database Administration & Exadata Experience:\nMinimum 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Oracle 19g database infrastructure as a DBA for a large organization.\nDirect hands-on experience working with Oracle Exadata environments (Exadata cell storage administration, maintenance, patching, or performance tuning).\nOS Platform Proficiency:\nMinimum 2+ years of direct experience working on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Oracle Linux OS platforms.\nStrong familiarity with advanced Unix/Linux features (file systems, volume management, system kernel parameters) and Windows Server advanced configurations.\nHigh Availability & Disaster Recovery:Minimum 1+ years of practical, hands-on experience configuring and administering Oracle Data Guard.\nProven implementation and administration experience with Oracle RAC.\nBackup & Recovery:\nExtensive hands-on experience executing backup, restore, and recovery strategies using Oracle RMAN.\nScripting & Querying:\nStrong expertise in SQL (proficiency in PL/SQL is highly preferred).\nDemonstrated proficiency in writing and maintaining Bash/Shell scripts for database maintenance automation.\nVendor Operations:\nProven track record raising, managing, and collaborating on Oracle Online Support Service Requests (SR).\nPreferred Skills\nOracle Exadata Database Machine certification (e.g., Oracle Exadata Database Machine Implementation Specialist).\nIn-depth knowledge of Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management).Familiarity with database security compliance, auditing, and vulnerability management.\nExperience in zero-downtime database upgrades and Exadata migration projects.\n\nSkillsBackup Storage System, Database Administrator (DBA), Linux, Oracle Database, Redhat\n\nCompensation & Other BenefitsMobile bill,T/A,Tour allowance\nSalary Review: Yearly\nFestival Bonus: 2\n\nEmployment status: Full Time\nVacancies: 1\nSalary: Tk. 40000 -
