They build a team that performs.\nThey communicate expectations, address problems, support employee development, maintain safe operations, and ensure production goals are achieved without compromising quality.\nIf you're a manufacturing leader who takes pride in developing people, solving problems, and running a successful shift, we'd like to hear from you.\nWhat You'll Be Responsible For\nLead and Develop Your Team\nProvide clear direction, expectations, and accountability for employees across your shift.\nCoach, train, and develop employees to improve performance, skills, and teamwork.\nAddress performance and behavioral concerns promptly, fairly, and professionally.\nBuild a positive, respectful work environment where employees understand their responsibilities.\nLead by example through consistent communication, sound judgment, and follow-through.\nOwn Your Shift's Operations\nCoordinate staffing, work assignments, and production priorities to meet daily goals.\nMonitor production output, quality, efficiency, and equipment performance.\nWork closely with Process Technicians, Quality, Material Handlers, and other support personnel to resolve production issues.\nEnsure proper materials, packaging, labeling, and production procedures are followed.\nIdentify problems, make informed decisions, and escalate technical or operational concerns when necessary.\nMaintain accurate production records and communicate important information between shifts.\nDrive Safety, Quality, and Accountability\nPromote and enforce safe work practices and company policies.\nEnsure employees follow established procedures and quality standards.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and strengthen team performance.\nTake responsibility for the results of your shift - including the people, processes, and production outcomes.\nRequirements\nWhat We're Looking For\nLeadership Comes First.\nWe're looking for someone who brings:\nStrong people leadership: Experience supervising, coaching, and holding manufacturing employees accountable.\nManufacturing knowledge: A solid understanding of injection molding equipment, production processes, and common operational challenges.\nOperational ownership: The ability to manage staffing, production priorities, workflow, and shift performance.\nCommunication skills: The ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively across departments and shifts.\nProblem-solving ability: Someone who can assess situations, make decisions, and involve the right resources when needed.\nConsistency and follow-through: A leader who sets expectations, follows up, and addresses issues rather than allowing them to continue.\nQualifications\nMinimum 5 years of experience in injection molding.\nPrevious manufacturing supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.\nWorking knowledge of injection molding machines, production processes, and manufacturing safety.\nAbility to coordinate multiple production priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work 2nd shift, including overtime as operational needs require.\nForklift training/certification and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.\nAdvanced injection molding processing expertise is not required.
