This position will be responsible for providing geological interpretations for various assets and play concepts that will be utilized for A&D efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.\nGeneral Responsibilities:\nProviding support in regional and localized geologic interpretation of various assets and play concepts across the Permian Basin\nCollect and integrate geological, petrophysical, geochemical, production, and other appropriate data to help refine basin/play models, evaluate assets, and high-grade areas within the Permian Basin for business development efforts\nMake recommendations based on integrated maps, cross sections, and other geological displays\nAbility to deliver high quality technical presentations and present projects to management in a timely manner\nWork within a team of reservoir and land specialists in a fast-paced environment \nActively participate and support in data acquisition, interpretation, and application\nMinimum Qualifications:\n5+ years’ oil and gas Geological experience\nTechnical and operational background in unconventional resource plays\nExperience in development of unconventional properties and multi-rig development programs\nAsset/Deal Valuation experience\nStrong skills in Petra and/or Kingdom (or similar integrated geoscience platform)\nMust be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams\nMust have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Geology\nExperience with unconventional resource plays in the Permian Basin, preference given to candidates with asset development backgrounds\nExperience with Kingdome and ArcGIS software\nPermian Resourceis an equal opportunity employer.
