This internship will provide hands-on exposure to environmental activities associated with oil and gas operations while working alongside environmental, engineering, and operations teams.\nIn this role, the intern may assist with environmental data analysis, regulatory and compliance initiatives, emissions and air quality projects, field assessments, and other environmental projects supporting Permian Resources' operations.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.\nMinimum Qualifications\nLegally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for an employer other than their current employer and/or educational institution\nPursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Petroleum Engineer, Chemical Engineering or other related field\nCurrent college level: Sophomore through Graduate student\nExpected graduation in Fall 2028/2029\nAvailable to begin the internship in mid-to-late May 2027\nAvailable for a minimum of 12 continuous weeks\nPreferred Qualifications\nMinimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale; candidates with a lower GPA may be considered based on extenuating circumstances\nPrevious oil and gas internships / experience\nProficiency in Microsoft Office\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a performance-driven, team-oriented environment\nInterest in environmental compliance, sustainability, and oil and gas operations\nPermian Resourceis an equal opportunity employer.
