We prefer NYC-based candidates or those open to relocation.\nAbout the Role\nWe've built the foundation for events at PermitFlow. Now we need someone to own the outcome and turn events into a pillar of our GTM motion.\nThis role runs the full events portfolio: industry conferences, owned events, customer-specific gatherings, and field marketing, plus ongoing experimentation with new formats, venues, and audiences. You'll execute hands-on, with internal and external support, and tie every event back to pipeline and revenue goals. We're an experimentation-heavy culture. You'll be given room to ideate, experiment, measure, and repeat what works.\nThis is a manager-level individual contributor role. You already know how to set goals, manage a budget, and partner across teams, and you'll bring that experience on day one.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the events portfolio: build the calendar across industry events, owned events, customer events, and field marketing, and decide where to place bets.\n\nRun logistics end to end: venues, budgets, vendors, contractors, staffing, and the on-the-ground run of show.\n\nExperiment deliberately and iterate quickly: test new formats, venues, and target audiences, and kill what doesn't work.\n\nGet the right targets in the room and at our booth. Great events don't stop at a project plan; they rely on driving high-value attendees.\n\nConnect events to revenue: define what success looks like for each event, track pipeline and revenue impact, and report results back to the business.\n\nPartner cross-functionally: work closely with demand gen, product marketing, sales, CS, and business operations to align events with GTM priorities.\n\nManage event budgets and vendor relationships: negotiate contracts, manage contractor relationships, and keep spend accountable.\n\nBuild the playbook: turn what's worked into repeatable processes so the program scales as the business grows.\n\nRepresent events at the leadership level: bring recommendations and results directly to company leadership.\n\nSource speaking opportunities at relevant industry and public events for executive leadership, including content submissions as needed.\n\nWho You Are\n4-7+ years running B2B events in a fast-moving environment and know the difference between an event that just looks good and one that drives pipeline.\n\nYou can run logistics yourself. You don't need a coordinator to book a venue or manage a floor plan, but you know when and what to delegate.\n\nYou think like a marketer first and an event planner second: every event ties back to organizational goals.\n\nYou've worked closely with partners in Sales, Customer Success, and Executives.\n\nYou're comfortable with ambiguity.
