We have a passion for living life to the fullest, making new friends every day, and realizing our potential as people and as a business!\nThe hourly range for this role is $16.75 to $21.00 per hour.\nPosition Summary:\nThe overall role of the Bottling Operator is to perform the physical duties related to packaging products for Smooth Ambler Spirits (SAS). The Bottling Operator works within the bottling team to ensure products are packaged in a timely manner, with regards to quality, appearance, and safety.\nMajor Responsibilities / Accountabilities:\nSafely and efficiently operate one or more of the following machines or combination of machines: depalletizer, unloader, cleaner, filler, capper, labeler, lot coder, case packer, case coder, palletizer. \nTag and report all equipment defects on machinery and assist with repairs as needed.\nCap making, specialized TX Whiskey leather top caps.\nPerform changeovers as required for each piece of machinery. \nEnsure machine functions correctly at budgeted efficiency once changeover is complete.\nPerform on-line quality checks as specified in work instructions.\nObserve good manufacturing practices, good housekeeping and follow all safety rules as required.\nWear all safety equipment, like eye protection, ear protection, and safety shoes, bump caps, etc as required.\nKey requirements:\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.\nExperience / Background:\nNo prior experience required. \nManufacturing, assembly, and/or mechanical experience preferred.\nWorking Conditions:\nPhysical/Skilled Labor:Work is performed in a general production area and/or office environment with regular demands for moving, lifting/carrying/lowering up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, climbing, and pushing.Normal visual, hearing and language acuity required for correspondence and computer usage.\nRequired Competencies:\nAbility to monitor processes and goods to identify variations from normal\nAn eye for detail\nWillingness to implement exacting standards\nCommunication abilities to relay issues and feedback to coworkers and supervisors\nMechanical troubleshooting skills preferred\nJob Posting End Date:\nTarget Hire Date:\n2026-08-03Target End Date:\nWhen you join Pernod Ricard, you’ll experience a workplace that is rich in heritage, driven by our iconic brands and a long-standing commitment to sustainability, safety, and giving back to the people and communities where we work.
