We employ over 800 people across our operations in Cork, Dublin and Northern Ireland.\nAbout the role\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Freight Coordinator to join our Bottling Operations team in Dublin 22.\nReporting to the International Freight Supply Manager, you will coordinate international freight movements across air, ocean and road transport. You will work closely with freight forwarders, carriers and internal teams to support freight operations, billing, pricing, transit performance and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate international freight shipments across air, ocean and road transportation.\nWork with freight forwarders, carriers and logistics partners to support timely and cost-effective deliveries.\nManage and maintain freight billing, pricing and reconciliation activities.\nUpdate freight pricing and process freight vouchers within Blue Yonder TMS (BY TMS).\nSupport freight-related financial processing, including purchase orders, accruals and reconciliation with SAP ERP.\nInvestigate and resolve freight billing queries, disputed charges, rejected invoices and discrepancies.\nMonitor accessorial charges including demurrage, detention and quay rent.\nCoordinate ad hoc and expedited shipments and obtain competitive spot freight rates.\nMonitor shipment progress and resolve transportation issues and supply chain bottlenecks.\nTrack carrier performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs, including transit times and on-time delivery.\nAnalyse freight and transit performance data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.\nPrepare freight reports, dashboards and commentary using Excel and Power BI.\nLead regular performance reviews with carriers and key stakeholders.\nSupport S&OP reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) by preparing data, slides and carrier scorecards.\nManage freight claims relating to lost, damaged or short-delivered goods.\nLiaise with carriers, warehouses, customers and insurance providers to investigate and resolve freight claims.\nConduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for recurring transportation issues.\nMaintain and improve freight SOPs, processes and ways of working.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement, automation and cost optimisation.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, Customer Service and Supply Chain teams.\nSupport Irish Distillers and Pernod Ricard supply chain projects and sustainability initiatives. \nQualifications, Skills & Experience\nEssential\n2+ years' experience in freight coordination, logistics, transportation or international shipping.\nStrong knowledge of international freight, freight forwarding and carrier management.\nExperience with freight billing, freight pricing and cost reconciliation.\nExperience working with ERP, TMS or logistics management systems.\nStrong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.\nStrong organisational and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced supply chain environment. \nDesirable\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.\nExperience with SAP ERP and/or Blue Yonder TMS (BY TMS).\nExperience with Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools.\nKnowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation and international trade compliance.\nUnderstanding of freight cost structures, SLAs and carrier performance management. \nKey Competencies\nFreight & Logistics Coordination\nInternational Shipping\nCarrier & Vendor Management\nFreight Billing & Pricing\nData Analysis & Reporting\nCost Optimisation\nContinuous Improvement\nProblem Solving\nStakeholder Management\nCommunication & Negotiation\nPlanning & Prioritisation\nWhat we offer\nWe understand our people are our special ingredient and at different points, employees require different supports at different stages of their working lives.
