You will bring a strong background in cloud-based networking concepts, technologies and solutions, with expertise in managing a variety of network security and optimisation tools. This is a crucial operations role supporting our network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, availability, security and performance.\nConfigure and manage firewalls, appliances and other network devices to enforce security policies and optimise network traffic\nDeploy and manage SD-WAN network products, optimising connectivity and performance across distributed locations\nMonitor and analyse network traffic, performance and security events, identifying and mitigating potential issues and vulnerabilities\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network architectures that support business requirements and objectives\nTroubleshoot and resolve network issues, providing timely and effective support to end users and stakeholders\nImplement and maintain network security controls and protocols to protect against cyber threats and unauthorised access\nDevelop and maintain accurate, complete network documentation, diagrams and configurations\nSupport projects to ensure network solutions align with network service strategies, frameworks, policies and practices\nProvide architecture oversight for key projects and initiatives\nDevelop network artefacts for cloud environments (especially Microsoft)\nParticipate in design forums and architecture governance, providing guidance to ensure solution designs are implemented correctly and standards are adhered to\nLead service lifecycle governance, maintaining network roadmaps and plans on behalf of the Technology Services Manager to ensure service lifecycle events are well managed\nCollaborate with ITSM and DevOps SMEs to create and maintain definitions and a catalogue of network services\nAbout You\nWe’re looking for someone with:\nA bachelor’s degree in IT, preferably with a major in Networking\nCertifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Checkpoint CCSA, Checkpoint CCSE or Azure are a plus\nFramework certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, COBIT, TOGAF or similar are highly desirable\nA minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Checkpoint firewalls, Netskope appliances, Azure networking, Citrix ADCs and SD-WAN networks based on Meraki products\nA strong understanding of cloud-based networking concepts, architectures and technologies, including virtual networks, VPNs, load balancers and DNS\nEssential experience with Microsoft Azure; experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus\nStrong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems\nProficiency in network routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs and MPLS\nA solid understanding of network security principles and best practices, including encryption, authentication and access control \nHow we work\nOur unique culture is underpinned by our three organisational behaviours, Stretch, Own it, Make an impact which drive our approach of day-to-day interactions with colleagues and clients, the way we approach decision-making to the questions we ask and the problems we solve.\nEmployee benefits\nWork from anywhere in Australia for up to one month each year\nAn annual allowance to empower you to prioritise your personal wellbeing\nStudy support and commitment to supporting professional development\nWe’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated.
