The job will also include giving water to manufacturing, and general housekeeping responsibilities (ex: roof cleaning, replacing batteries, replacing ceilings, bathroom clogs, painting, wall patching, general carpentry etc).\nThis is a Union Position - Pay Range: $28.00, M-F 6am - 2:30pm\nScope of the Role\n1. Responsible for operations and troubleshooting of Perrigo’s facilities systems in compliance with applicable codes, all state requirements and Perrigo SOPs.\n2. Performs utility systems rebuilding/install, upgrade and preventative maintenance. 30% 3. Completes general work orders and interfaces with other technicians across all shifts in a team environment.\n4. Performs special projects and other related duties specific to the department as assigned.\nExperience Required\nHigh school diploma, General Education Development (GED) or equivalency.\nDemonstrated cooperative work conduct and the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.\nStrong oral and written communication skills required.\nFive plus years of solid work experience in a variety of maintenance skills including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc. Or Three (3) years as a Perrigo Set Up Tech plus at least two years of completed education in a related program from an accredited university/college.\nProgrammable Logic Controls (PLC) background desirable.\nComputer skills in Microsoft Suite and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP are required with the ability to navigate through computer-based training systems desirable.\nAbility to read and work from Blueprints\nDemonstrated commitment to meeting schedules and deadlines through good attendance and willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays are also necessary.\nPhysical Requirements:\nWorks from ladders, man lifts, and requires ability to continuously lift 20 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. frequently.\nMust be able to stand on concrete floors for 8 hours up to 12 hours.\nMust be able to push or pull up to 400 pounds utilizing a manual cart.\nMust be able to stoop, squat, and bend.\nMust be able to work in confined spaces and in high areas using proper procedures with ability to have sustained reach laterally and above shoulder height.\nMust be able to frequently grasp objects, small hand tools, calipers, etc.\nMust possess sufficient visual and audio acuity to work safely and accurately in an industrial environment.\nMust be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment to comply with hazardous procedures.\nMust be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and required overtime through extended shifts and weekends.\nEmployees must pass scissor lift driving and fork truck driving test provided by Perrigo.\nEmployees must pass confined space training, fall arrest training provided by Perrigo. **Protective Equipment Requirement**\nMust be able to wear negative and/or positive pressure respirators daily for long periods of time.
