# 1st Shift PreWeigh Operator

Description Overview Pre-Weight of manufacturing batches using a copy of master formula documentation. Duties include weighing of raw materials, checking expiration date using SAP system, monitoring weighting procedures, setting up and operating of various scales used in the weighing process, movement of materials to and from weight rooms/weighting areas, signing batch records and making log entries. Cleaning of weight rooms and area. This is a union position. Pay rate is $26.20 per hour. Scope of the Role Pre-Weigher is responsible for, but not limited to the following: Follow written instructions and all SOPs for Weighing/Manufacturing Follow all steps involved in the weighing of Raw Materials Weighing Raw Material from copy of master formula documents Staging and pre-paring of raw material to the manufacturing department Clean of weight room and area as needed Moving materials to and from the weighting area Signing batch records and make log entries Cooperate with QA inspectors Follow appropriate cleaning procedures Maintain operating schedule Maintain daily professional work relation with division employees, managers, and supervisors Follow all safety rules, company policies
