The Set-up Line Tech carries out product, size, and machine tooling changes to accommodate components, adjusts machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation, and resolves problems while product is running.\nScope of the Role\nMonitor equipment while running to assure optimal throughput.\nProvide line personnel with guidance on how to operate the equipment.\nBasic knowledge of Packaging equipment to ensure minor troubleshooting and correct issues.\nInform Master Mechanic, Set-Up Mechanic and Supervisor of potential equipment issues/failures.\nDisassemble/Assemble filling/packaging equipment as necessary.\nSet Lot/Batch numbers and expiration date base on customer order.\nTool must be organized and clean and free of unnecessary parts.\nKeep and maintain working area clean.\nPerform equipment cleaning by dismantle and assemble equipment according to Equipment cleaning SOP in a specified time of execution. Ex filling equipment, transfer pumps, etc.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nAdditional Responsibilities of the Position Include:\nMust be able to work different working schedule as deemed by business necessity.\nMust be able to work extra hours with advance or no advance notification deemed by business needs.\nMust be able to read and write in English and fill out paper work.\nEnsure components have been checked by Supervisor and QA personnel before equipment set up.\nCoordinate routine maintenance and perform minor repairs together with maintenance personnel.\nSupport and lead process improvement initiatives.\nDocument activities in Area/Equipment Log Book.\nDocument major activities in In-process Control Form.\nNotify Supervisor, Master Mechanic, and/or Set-up & Cleaner Coordinator when equipment is ready.\nExperience Required\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh school diploma, General Education Development (GED) or equivalency.\nDemonstrated cooperative work conduct and the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.\nKnowledge on the following equipment preferred:\nComadis tube fillers\nWaukesha Pumps\nHV/HMM CAM carton machines\nCozzoli Machines\nMonoblock 1&2 filling lines\nUn-scrambler bottles\nGraco Pumps\nCampbell Wrapper machines\nJones boxing equipment\nSAAS 6,9,15\nUnit Dose Filling lines\nFilz Alls liquid filler equipment\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand;
