This role supports legacy and modern automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), vision systems, robotics, serialization systems, instrumentation, drives, and industrial networks.\nThe Automation Technician works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and external vendors to maximize safety, reliability, compliance, and equipment performance.\nPay range: $42.00 - $52.00/hr\n2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM)\nScope of the Role\nTroubleshoot, maintain, and support automation, controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems.\nProvide technical support for packaging equipment, bulk manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and utility equipment, including legacy and newly installed systems as well as fully automated and semi-automatic equipment.\nPerform troubleshooting and approved modifications to PLC, HMI, SCADA, and automation applications.\nSupport automation platforms and related technologies, including Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Cognex and Keyence vision systems, Optel serialization systems, and Universal Robots (UR).\nSupport Building Management Systems (BMS), industrial networks, system backups, technical documentation, disaster recovery, and change control activities.\nAssist with startup, commissioning, validation, optimization, and integration of new equipment and automation technologies.\nParticipate in root cause investigations, reliability improvements, preventive maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain compliance with applicable GMP, safety, data integrity, and regulatory requirements.\nCoordinate with vendors, contractors, and system integrators as needed.\nExperience Required\nAssociate degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience supporting industrial automation systems in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience with industrial control systems and automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), instrumentation, drives, industrial networks, and communication protocols.\nExperience supporting automation platforms and related technologies such as Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, machine vision systems, serialization systems, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment.\nExperience working in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment, including pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer health, or other regulated industries.\nKnowledge of GMP requirements, change control processes, validation activities, and data integrity principles preferred.\nBenefits\nWe believe our people are our greatest asset.
