We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture where each person can experience a sense of belonging.\nJoin us on our One Perrigo journey as we evolve to win in self-care.\nDescription Overview\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Quality & Compliance Officer Pharma to join our Quality team and support the effective release and distribution of pharmaceutical products within a regulated environment.\nReporting into the Quality function, you will play a critical role in ensuring that batch documentation, testing activities, and quality records are managed accurately and in compliance with internal procedures, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and applicable regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Qualified Persons (QPs), laboratories, supply chain partners, and external stakeholders to ensure products are released efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient safety.\nThis role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented quality professional with experience in the pharmaceutical industry who enjoys managing multiple priorities and contributing to a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.\nLocation: On-site, 5 days per week\nScope of the Role\nBatch Documentation & Third-Party Import Management\nReview and verify batch documentation received for imported pharmaceutical products.\nCoordinate and manage the dispatch of samples to contract testing laboratories.\nPerform incoming sample inspections and ensure compliance with quality requirements.\nVerify that reference and retention samples are collected and maintained appropriately.\nMaintain and update the QP SharePoint tracker on a daily basis.\nUpload and organize batch-related documentation, including:- Certificates of Analysis (CoA)\n- Certificates of Conformity (CoC)\n- Delivery documentation\n- Temperature monitoring records\n- Bills of Lading\n\nIdentify, document, and escalate deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and quality trends.\nMaintain testing and performance records for external laboratories.\nBatch Release Support\nSupport Qualified Persons (QPs) by ensuring batches are complete, accurate, and ready for certification.\nProactively identify quality or documentation issues that could impact batch release.\nCoordinate and prioritize batch release activities to support business and customer requirements.\nQuality Systems & Documentation\nMaintain quality records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nSupport document control, archiving, and retention processes.\nCoordinate the secure disposal of obsolete quality documentation and samples.\nSample Management\nPrepare and coordinate samples requested by third-party customers, partners, and regulatory stakeholders.\nEnsure all required documentation is complete prior to sample release.\nVerify samples are correctly labelled and prepared according to quality procedures.\nEnsure samples intended for evaluation purposes are clearly identified and controlled.\nMaintain compliance by ensuring samples are only released following all applicable quality checks.\nCommunication & Reporting\nPrepare and distribute the weekly testing and batch release schedule.\nLiaise with internal departments, contract laboratories, and external partners to ensure timely processing of quality activities.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality & Compliance function.\nExperience Required\nEducation & Experience\nExperience within the pharmaceutical industry is required.\n\nPrevious experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Compliance, Quality Operations, or related Quality function.\n\nExperience working in a regulated GMP and/or GDP environment.\n\nUnderstanding of pharmaceutical batch documentation, product release processes, and quality systems.\n\nDegree in a scientific discipline is advantageous; however, equivalent industry experience will also be considered.\n\nSkills & Competencies\nExceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.\n\nSAP experience is desirable.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in english.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively across functions and with external partners.\n\nProactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.\n\nSolution-oriented mindset with a high level of accountability and ownership.\n\nBenefits\nWe believe our people are our greatest asset.
