Front End Engineer

We are a fast-moving startup building modern, scalable products. We are looking for a Frontend Engineer who cares about performance, clean code, and great UX. You'll work closely with backend engineers and product teams to build fast, reliable, and beautiful user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Build high-quality web applications using React.
• Manage server state using React Query.
• Use React hooks and the Context API to create scalable state management.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Build responsive and polished UI with modern CSS.
• Optimise frontend performance (lazy loading, memoisation, efficient rendering).
• Work closely with backend APIs and product teams.
• Improve developer experience and frontend architecture.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong experience with React.
• Deep understanding of Hooks and the Context API.
• Experience with React Query.
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Good understanding of CSS and responsive UI.
• Experience optimising frontend performance.
• Ability to own features end-to-end.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Next.js .
• Experience with design systems or component libraries.
• Experience with testing frameworks.
• Startup experience.
