This role is responsible for securing, governing, and monitoring privileged accounts across critical systems, applications, and infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening privileged access controls, improving security posture, ensuring compliance, and supporting enterprise-wide identity security initiatives.\nRole: Senior BeyondTrust PAM Engineer\nLocation: Bengaluru\nExperience: Between 8 to 12 Years\nJob Type: Full Time Employment\nWhat You'll Do:\nDeploy, configure, and maintain BeyondTrust PAM components across enterprise environments.\nImplement privileged account onboarding for administrative, shared, service, and application accounts.\nConfigure password vaulting, automated password rotation, credential management, and privileged access workflows.\nImplement and manage session monitoring, session recording, privileged session management, and audit capabilities.\nConfigure role-based access controls, approval workflows, policy enforcement, and least-privilege access models.\nIntegrate BeyondTrust solutions with Active Directory, LDAP, databases, cloud platforms, servers, and enterprise applications.\nTroubleshoot platform issues, connector failures, authentication problems, onboarding challenges, and operational incidents.\nPerform PAM platform upgrades, patch management, health checks, and performance optimization activities.\nWork closely with security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to strengthen privileged access controls.\nSupport audit reviews, compliance assessments, evidence collection, and security reporting requirements.\nDevelop operational runbooks, implementation guides, technical documentation, and support procedures.\nAutomate onboarding, administration, and recurring operational activities using scripting and automation tools.\nMonitor PAM platform health and proactively identify reliability, security, and performance improvements.\nExpertise You'll Bring:\n8-12 years of experience in Privileged Access Management, Identity & Access Management, or Cybersecurity Engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience implementing and administering BeyondTrust PAM solutions.\nDeep understanding of privileged account lifecycle management, password vaulting, credential management, and access governance.\nExperience with BeyondTrust Password Safe, Privileged Remote Access (PRA), Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), and related modules.\nStrong knowledge of privileged session monitoring, session recording, privileged elevation, and approval workflow configuration.\nExperience integrating BeyondTrust with Active Directory, Windows Server, Linux/Unix systems, databases, cloud environments, and enterprise applications.\nFamiliarity with authentication technologies, LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, and identity federation concepts.\nExperience working with service accounts, application accounts, and privileged access governance controls.\nStrong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or similar technologies.\nUnderstanding of cloud security, identity management, Zero Trust principles, and enterprise security frameworks.\nExperience supporting compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, PCI-DSS, and CIS Controls.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities in complex enterprise environments.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.\nAbility to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during PAM implementations.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nBeyondTrust certifications, CISSP, CISM, Security+, or other cybersecurity certifications are highly desirable.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salary and benefits package\nCulture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications\nOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies\nEmployee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards\nAnnual health check-ups\nInsurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents\nValues-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment:\nPersistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
