This position requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, integration technologies, and enterprise service management best practices.\n\nRole: ServiceNow Platform Engineer\nLocation: All Persistent Locations\nExperience: 6 to 9 Years\nJob Type: Full Time Employment\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nDevelop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and platform customizations.\nDesign and implement scalable workflows, automation solutions, and business process improvements within the ServiceNow platform.\nConfigure and support ITSM modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Requests, and Service Catalog.\nDevelop and enhance Service Portal components, custom widgets, pages, and user interfaces.\nCreate and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Flow Designer implementations.\nBuild and support integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise applications using REST and SOAP APIs.\nTroubleshoot platform issues and provide timely resolution for development and production support incidents.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.\nParticipate in solution design discussions and recommend best-fit ServiceNow capabilities based on business requirements.\nEnsure platform stability, security, scalability, and compliance with ServiceNow development standards.\nPerform unit testing, system testing, deployment validation, and post-production support activities.\nMaintain technical documentation, configuration records, and knowledge transfer materials.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and platform optimization activities.\nContribute to Agile project delivery, sprint planning, estimation, and release management processes.\nFollow ServiceNow governance frameworks, coding standards, and best practices.\n\nExpertise You'll Bring:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n6-9 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and platform engineering.\nStrong expertise in ServiceNow Platform development, administration, and customization.\nExtensive experience implementing and supporting ITSM modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Requests.\nStrong hands-on experience with Service Portal development, widget creation, and user interface customization.\nExperience developing workflows using Flow Designer and traditional workflow capabilities.\nProficiency in JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.\nExperience with ServiceNow platform customization and enterprise workflow automation.\nStrong understanding of Service Catalog development and request fulfillment processes.\nExperience building REST and SOAP integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems.\nFamiliarity with CMDB concepts, configuration management, and asset management practices.\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.\nExperience supporting complex ServiceNow production environments.\nKnowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and software development lifecycle processes.\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work directly with business users, stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams.\nExperience in Enterprise Service Management and Digital Workflow Automation initiatives.\nStrong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS will be an added advantage.\n\nBenefits:\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package\nCulture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications\nOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies\nEmployee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards\nAnnual health check-ups\nInsurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalisation for self, spouse, two children, and parents\n\nValues-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment:\n\nPersistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
