You'll work directly with our mechanical and electrical engineering teams on real projects that impact our robot development.\nNow reviewing applications for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.\nWhat You’ll Work On:\nPCBA Design & Testing: Support development and validation of custom electronics for humanoid robot power, communication, and actuation systems\n\nCabling Systems: Assist with design and prototyping of robotic systems with a focus on designing cabling and understanding grounding and bonding\n\nEmbedded System Development: Be involved with the writing, testing, and validating embedded software for the custom electronics that we have produced\n\nEngineering Documentation: Create technical documentation, drawings, test reports, and design specifications\n\nWhat you’ll learn:\nHands-on experience with humanoid robotics development from concept to product\n\nReal-world application of engineering fundamentals in cutting-edge robotics\n\nQualifications:\nCurrently pursuing, or have obtained, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field\n\nA passion for robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems\n\nExperience with electrical CAD software (ideally KiCAD), prototyping, and hands-on building (coursework, personal projects, student competitions, or hobby work)\n\nExperience with embedded software development (C, C++, Python, Git tools) and circuit simulation software (LTSpice)\n\nStrong work ethic and willingness to get hands-on with tools, equipment, and testing\n\nCollaborative mindset with excellent communication and teamwork abilities\n\nSelf-motivated with ability to ask good questions and take initiative\n\nOur Internship Program\nAt Persona AI, our internship program gives you direct, hands-on experience building cutting-edge humanoid robotics alongside industry experts. We offer full-time term opportunities across three upcoming cohorts:\nFall 2026: August - December\n\nSpring 2027: January - May\n\nSummer 2027: May - August\n\nAs an intern, you’ll be paired 1:1 with a senior engineer mentor to accelerate your growth and guide your technical contributions. You will bond with your cohort through intern group lunches, gain cross-functional perspective during company-wide learning lunches, and unwind with fun team activities throughout the term.
