Need to be fearless in making decisions to move the company forward.\nJob Summary\nDirect and manage all plant operations in the production facility with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, shipping, and other production-related activities.\nJob Responsibilities\n· Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality, and shipping and receiving.\n· Manage plant activities with lead people to insure manufacturing objectives are met in timely and cost-effective manner.\n· Develop and control plans, budgets and profits for this facility.\n· Control capital expenditures, operating expenses, manpower levels, hours worked, and wages.\n· Manage capital assets and expenditures.\n· Control and manage labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.\n· Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, repair, or make adjustment to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.\n· Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.\n· Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.\n· Incorporate and manage shop floor organization and plant cleanliness with plant personnel.\n· Lead the effort to maintain a safe, clean, healthy working environment.\n· Provide direction, development, and leadership to production leads.\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience\n· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or five years in plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\n· Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.\n· Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements is preferred\n Position Type and Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a salary exempt, full-time position Monday through Friday.
