product deviations, quality issues, quantity discrepancies, and customer complaints, providing technical findings and recommendations.\nConduct technical testing on existing and new products to wastage, optimise yields, and identify opportunities for automation.\nDevelop and maintain line specifications, process tolerances, process controls, and standard operating procedures.\nSupport product development and testing through technical analysis, modelling, calculations, and machine improvement recommendations.\nDesign and implement existing product improvements, assist with new product designs, and contribute to research and development projects.\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities through improved production methods, alternative suppliers, machinery upgrades, automation, and more efficient labour utilisation.\nManage engineering projects, including feasibility assessments, project scope, project plans, timelines, and deliverables.\nComplete and monitor New Product Request (NPR) and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) documentation, following up on implementation through the relevant Process Change Request (PCR) process.\nProvide accurate technical information for the creation of new stock codes and bills of materials (BOMs).\nManage and coordinate the Engineering Foreman and artisan team, including resource allocation, project manufacturing activities, performance management, staff development, discipline, and leave approvals.\nEnsure engineering activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and production requirements.\nRequirements:Grade 12 / Matric with acceptable marks.\nBTech or BEng in Mechanical Engineering.\nMinimum 3-5 years’ experience in a factory environment, with 5-7 years’ relevant experience in a similar role preferred.\nStrong technical understanding of mechanical machinery, production processes, and fault-finding.\nProven ability to analyse production figures, identify
