The role installs, maintains and troubleshoots computers, printers, networks, phones and business applications, manages user accounts, and keeps IT assets and records up to date. It supports the Group IT Manager in maintaining secure and reliable systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLog, prioritise and resolve IT support requests by phone, email, remote access or on site.\n\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, printer, email, network and application problems.\n\nEscalate complex issues to the Group IT Manager or vendors, and follow up until resolved.\n\nKeep users informed of progress, and record solutions for future reference.\n\nInstall, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers, phones and peripherals.\n\nInstall software and updates, and apply security patches as directed.\n\nSupport network equipment, Wi-Fi, internet connections and CCTV systems at Group sites.\n\nPrepare equipment for new staff and recover equipment from leavers.\n\nCreate, amend and disable user accounts, email and system access on authorised requests.\n\nMonitor antivirus/endpoint protection and report security issues to the Group IT Manager.\n\nRun and check scheduled backups, and report any failures immediately.\n\nMaintain the IT asset register, including serial numbers, users, locations and condition.\n\nKeep records of licences, warranties and repairs.\n\nMaintain simple user guides and technical notes for common problems.\n\nObtain quotations for IT purchases and follow up deliveries.\n\nSupport IT projects, system roll-outs and user training.\n\nPerform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Group IT Manager.\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive Salary with attractive commission structure.\n\nJob Requirements\nRequirements:\n\nDiploma or National Certificate in Information Technology or Computer Science.\n\nBachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field.\n\nMinimum 2 years’ experience in related field.\n\nCertifications advantageous (for example CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 or equivalent).\n\nValid driving licence.
